Murugessan, Prem Kumar, Moïse and Sathish, former sponsored children of Volontariat, have made laurel to Volontariat on 13th February 2009 at The Bangalore School of Music.

The event took place in front of many international musicians and a very enthusiastic audience. The news about this event was published in the daily news paper also, see the photos.
These four flutists were trained for more than 8 years by Madame Anne Marie Paillard – Harpsichord and pianist – a volunteer at Volontariat organization. She started to teach them from the very beginning of music theory. Through her talents, her patience and her attachment to them, she soon developed their love for the music and skill of their instruments. They passed several high level exams with London Trinity School of Music and they received many diplomas with very high marks.
It’s important to emphasize that, despite their deprived family background, they were most enthusiastic to play European classical music. Now, they are very happy to share their knowledge with the young ones at Volontariat and they spend many hours teaching them.
All of us from Volontariat, we are very proud of them and we wish them many more years of success.
