TTK farm, a place for KG children
Each Wednesday, a batch of KG children, by rotation, spends the day at the farm with their teachers and attenders. They enjoy the quiet place, playground, games, the animals and, during the hot season, the small swimming pool. It is a time of discovery for those small children who live in the city.

Holiday’s camps
Every year, the farm is full of life during the months of April and May, the time of Summer holidays. More than 500 children enjoy the place, by rotation on 4 weeks, full of happiness. Children of other organizations were also joining.

The Volontariat organizes these camps in the large space and dormitories of the farm. 100 children or even more gather for one full week, dispatched by age’s groups. Their agenda involves theater, music, dance, clay work, awareness programmes with resource persons for the elder ones, games and competition at the playground, etc.

In 2007, the fire of the area François Thottam, Pondicherry, was on the very evening of the end of the first camp. So in addition to the expected children, the second camp welcomed all the sponsored children who had no more huts.

We do hope that the 2008 camps will not see such a dramatic event. The theme of these camps will be the RESPECT.

Dyanam (meditation in Sanskrit):
This place, under a conical iron structure covered with “keethus” is dedicated to Peace and meditation. It is not linked to any religion, any one who wishes to stay a while in a calm place or a group singing together is welcomed here.
