Sponsor a child
Since 1963, Volontariat at Uppalam, Pondicherry has worked for children from the lowest economic level to have a better chance in life than their parents. It has been possible, thanks to a Sponsorship programme organized by the Associations in France and Belgium.
Volontariat takes into account the basic needs of the child:
A daily well-balanced meal, if the school is not too far from our Centre
The school uniform and the school fees,
The evening classes for homework help
Health follow-up and payment for medicines and hospitalization,
All extra-curricular activities: music (drums, trumpet, flute, etc), classical dance (Bharata Natyam) and folk dances, songs, Yoga, Taekwondo and Karate, holiday camps, etc.
The Sponsorship programme definitely opens the door for a better future.
